Healthy Comfort Food in Challenging Times

With the Corona virus outbreak, these are stressful times. Many of us are temporarily out of work or school and feeling the pinch financially. In addition to this, we are currently unable to go out and enjoy our favorite activities.


One big blessing that comes with being cooped up at home is plenty of time to cook and enjoy good food. Now more than ever we need to focus on maintaining and improving our physical health. It is a great time to try new recipes and enjoy your favorite whole food, plant based comfort foods.


I have been drinking Comfort Tea and Lovejoy Golden Milk to de-stress. To boost your immune system, try making soups and curries that have garlic, onions, ginger, turmeric, and leafy greens.


Take the time now to make some of your favorite recipes in big batches and freeze them, so you will have a good stash when our lives get back to normal. In the meantime, I wish you all good health and happiness.
